Saved this Elky from a wrecking
yard in Reno NV October 1990. Hit on front right fender. No motor,
tranny or wheels. I fixed the front end, installed new motor, tranny
and wheels. Then drove it home to Colorado.
Started this long project by cutting a hole in
hood to fit over the tunnel ram.
Fixed the rust, filled the front marker light,
did body work on the fenders and primed them.
Stripped more of the paint from the car. Body
work was finished on the door then primed.

Finished body work on roof, fixed rust around
rear window and etch primmed. Painted rear window interior deck Gloss
Black.
The Elky has now been block sanded and primered
twice.
Block sanded and primed again. Pictures were
taken on my trip from Colorado to Reno Nevada. Removed the 2/4 carb
set to save $ on gas.

Finishig the masking job. The Elky
is finally ready for a Black Cherry paint job.
After 8 hours in the paint booth the Elky looks
real good.

Some more paint booth pics. Love that shine.
